Deal templates
When your build supports templates—names and buttons follow the live app.
Description
Manager / brand operator: templates reduce copy-paste errors when you run recurring promotions (e.g. weekday lunch). Templates may live under Deals → Templates or inside the Create flow—follow what you see.
Steps
- Open Templates or start from an existing live deal you want to reuse.
- Tap Save as template or Create template; enter a template name only your team will see.
- Confirm which fields copy forward—some builds copy media, others reset images for compliance.
- When starting a new deal, choose From template, pick the saved blueprint, then adjust dates, inventory, and price for this run only.
- Review legal text blocks if cloned—seasonal disclaimers may need edits even if numbers stay the same.
- Publish using the same checks as Create and edit.

If something goes wrong
- Template missing fields: the source deal may have used deprecated fields; rebuild template from a fresh live deal.
- Cannot delete template: your role may lack delete; ask brand admin.
- Wrong currency or region: templates do not override store region—fix store profile first.
