Description

This page walks through email registration and email verification: filling Create Account, accepting terms, and entering the one-time code sent to your inbox.

Create an account (email registration)

1. From Sign in, tap Sign Up (link: “Don’t have an account? Sign Up”).
2. On Create Account / “Join Crunchy Plum”, fill in the fields in order:
   • Username — wait until the app shows Username is available (or fix errors such as This username is already taken).
   • Full Name — required (hint example: “John Doe”).
   • Date of Birth — enter MM/DD/YYYY. You must be at least 18; otherwise you will see You must be at least 18 years old to register.
   • Email — wait until you see Email is available or correct This email is already registered (that means you should use Sign In instead).
   • Password — follow the strength rules shown on screen (minimum length + character types).
   • Confirm Password — must match Password (Passwords do not match if not).
3. Read and accept legal terms: check the box for the sentence I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (tap each underlined title to read the document in-app). You must check this box to continue.
4. Optionally enable:
   • I would like to receive promotional emails and SMS about deals, discounts, and updates.
   • I agree to allow anonymous usage analytics to help improve the app experience.
5. Tap Create Account.

What happens next:

6. After Create Account succeeds, your agreement to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy is saved as part of registration.
7. You are then taken to the email verification screen so you can enter the one-time code sent to the email you just used. Your email may already appear on that screen so you only need the code from your inbox.

Verify your email (one-time code)

1. On the email verification screen, open the inbox for the address you used and find the verification email from Crunchy Plum.
2. Enter the code from that email in the app and confirm.
3. On success you should see a confirmation such as Email verified! Welcome to Crunchy Plum! and you will be taken to the main experience (e.g. home).
4. If the code expired or is wrong, read the on-screen error (e.g. invalid/expired), correct the code, or use resend if available — a successful resend shows Verification code resent! Check your inbox.

If something goes wrong

• This email is already registered on Create Account → go back to Sign In with that email, or use Forgot password? if you do not remember the password.
• This username is already taken → pick another username until you see Username is available.
• Verification failed after entering the code → re-read the code, use resend if available, check spam, and make sure you are using the code from your new-account email, not an older “reset password” email.
