Cart and checkout paths

Two ways to reach payment—multi-deal checkout from Cart versus quick checkout from a single deal page.

Description

Crunchy Plum supports two shopping paths:

  1. Cart checkout — add one or more deals from Deal detail into the Cart tab, review quantities, then tap Checkout (or the primary checkout control) so everything pays together.
  2. Quick checkout — from a single Deal detail screen, tap Buy now / Purchase style button to jump straight into payment for that deal only.

Both paths land on the same style of checkout screen (totals, taxes if shown, payment method). You may also apply Store Credit when the toggle or field appears—read Store Credit for balance and history.

Steps

Path A — Cart checkout

  1. Tap Cart in the bottom navigation.
  2. For each deal card, adjust quantity with + / or remove a row with Remove / trash icon.
  3. When the list looks right, tap Checkout (wording may be Proceed to checkout).
  4. On the checkout screen, confirm Store Credit usage if offered, pick payment method, review total, then confirm purchase.
  5. After success, use the button that jumps to My Orders or My vouchers (see My Orders and order details).

Path B — Quick checkout

  1. Open Deal detail from Home, Search, or Collection.
  2. Choose quantity/options on the detail screen.
  3. Tap the primary purchase button that skips the cart (label varies).
  4. Complete the same checkout confirmations as Path A.

If something goes wrong

  • Checkout button disabled in Cart → fix any row errors (sold out, min quantity).
  • Store Credit toggle greyed out → balance may be zero or deal excludes credit—read banner text.
  • Different total in Cart vs quick checkout → service fees or taxes may apply per combination; trust the final checkout line items.
