Redemption history
Read-only or limited-edit depending on role—use together with Orders when ties exist.
Description
Manager / shift lead: use history during cash drawer audits or when a guest claims a mistaken redemption. Cashier: you may only see same-day rows—ask for elevated access if policy allows.
Steps
- Open Scan → History, Activity, or open Redemption history from Me—follow your build’s label.
- Choose date range defaulting to today for shift checks; widen only when researching a dispute.
- Tap an entry to view time, deal name, staff if logged, and reference IDs—compare with guest screenshots politely.
- Use search by code fragment if the guest shows a partial screenshot—never ask them to send passwords.
- Export or share only if your security policy permits; many shops forbid emailing CSV from personal mail—use company channels.
- If a duplicate redemption appears, escalate with timestamps to Support chat; do not refund cash on your own if policy forbids.

If something goes wrong
- Missing transaction you know happened: confirm store and timezone filters; confirm device was online at the time.
- Offline mode gaps: some entries sync later—wait and refresh before assuming loss.
