Edit profile
Edit profile is separate from Account Settings—here you update how you appear to friends and merchants, not payment credentials.
Description
Edit profile opens from the pencil or avatar area at the top of Profile. It is where you change full name, username (if editable), avatar photo, and other profile fields the form lists. Phone, password, and saved cards live under Account Settings instead—see Account settings and Payment methods and billing address.
Steps
- Open Profile.
- Tap the edit icon on your avatar row (or the avatar itself when highlighted for editing).
- Update each field the screen allows. For photo, choose camera or library when the sheet appears; crop if prompted.
- Tap Save (or the checkmark) to apply changes.
- Return to Profile and confirm the header shows your new name or photo after a short sync.
If something goes wrong
- Username unavailable → pick another until the inline message shows availability.
- Photo upload fails → check photo permissions in system settings; try a smaller image file.
- You must change sign-in email → not available in-app; follow Account settings for support contact.
