Dashboard and analytics

Dashboard cards summarize; Analytics may expose trends—both depend on permissions and data freshness labels.

Description

Manager / brand admin: start each shift from Dashboard for anomalies (refund spikes, low ratings). Cashier: you may never see this tab—expected.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard from the bottom bar when visible—if absent, your login lacks analytics permission—see Tabs and roles.
  2. Read today vs yesterday cards if shown—interpret cautiously on partial days.
  3. Tap a card to drill down into Analytics or linked lists when navigation arrows appear.
  4. In Analytics, choose metric (GMV, orders, redemption counts—names vary) and granularity (hour/day/week).
  5. Compare store vs brand context using the selector—avoid celebrating brand wins that ignore a struggling outlet.
  6. Note data freshness footers—do not confront staff with minute-old claims if the UI says hourly refresh.
  7. Export or screenshot only per policy before leadership meetings.

If something goes wrong

  • Zeros everywhere: wrong store scope or integration pause—check Store selector.
  • Mismatch with finance exports: dashboards may be gross while payouts net—align definitions before debating.
