Sign in, registration, and account review status

Step-by-step expectations after you register or accept an invite so you are never stuck wondering whether something failed.

Description

Manager / Brand admin: you often complete merchant registration and wait for platform review. Cashier / trainee: you usually arrive via staff invitation instead—see Staff invitations.

Steps

  1. Open the Dealjoy Merchant app and choose Sign in (or Register if your organization is onboarding for the first time—labels match the live app).
  2. Enter the email and password your organization uses for merchant access. If your employer gave you a magic link or invitation code, follow that flow instead—do not create a second merchant account unless instructed.
  3. If you see Review pending or similar wording, your submission is in queue. Stay on a stable network and wait; on-screen text explains whether you can edit or must wait.
  4. If asked to resubmit documents or details, open the indicated screen, complete every required field, then submit again. Incomplete fields usually stay highlighted.
  5. After approval, you should reach the main shell with bottom navigation (tabs vary by role—see Tabs and roles).
  6. If the screen says Account disabled or you cannot sign in after approval, use Customer Support or Support chat paths in Settings and support—do not repeatedly reinstall the app as the first step.

If something goes wrong

  • Spinner never finishes: confirm Wi‑Fi or mobile data, force-close and reopen once, then try again. Repeated failures are often network or maintenance—not account rejection.
  • “Wrong password” but you just reset: wait one minute, ensure caps lock is off on hardware keyboards, try password visibility toggle if shown.
  • You approved on web/email but the app still shows pending: pull-to-refresh on the review screen if available; otherwise sign out and sign in once after your admin confirms approval.
