Notifications
Notifications collect order, chat, and system alerts so you can clear or open them in one place.
Description
On Chats, the bell icon opens Notifications (title may read Notifications or similar). Items can include new chat messages, order updates, promotions, or system notices—each row should show a title, short body, and time. This is separate from your phone’s push notification settings, though both affect whether you hear about events.
Steps
- Open Chat.
- Tap the bell icon (badge shows unread count when greater than zero).
- Scroll the feed; tap a row to jump to the related screen (conversation, order, etc.) when tappable.
- Swipe a row or use Clear / Mark all read if the app exposes those controls.
- To change how often pushes arrive, exit to the phone Settings → Notifications → Crunchy Plum (wording depends on iOS/Android).
If something goes wrong
- Bell never clears → mark items read individually; if stuck, sign out/in.
- No notifications but you missed an order → enable push permissions and email receipts; see My Orders and order details.
